Our holiday week in Peru

We spent our final week in Peru sightseeing. We visited the oasis town of Huacachina, where I challenged myself by sandboarding! As my sister said “Niamh, doing an extreme sport? Never.” More

Sterility

Life in the jungle was hard work for us, but I definitely felt in touch with nature. Going back to my life in the US/Europe, I see it differently. More

Of course people started talking about Michael. More

Dancing Thriller in the Jungle

I was happy to discover that the people here knew Michael, that his music had reached the Amazon! More

“The world would be brighter if I had some cheese”

Kudos to Aimee for the title. It’s funny how sometimes it’s just the littlest thing that you miss. I guess what you miss is always relative to what you have. We’re able to buy little treats like biscuits (cookies) and soda, but man was it hard to find cheese. More
