Music does many things – it inspires and empowers, it releases emotions, but it is also a mirror for our emotions. We are attracted to sounds and lyrics that tap into how we are feeling, that perhaps express what we cannot put into words. In this way, the music that you connect with is an indication of who you are and how you are feeling at a given point in time. We are given a channel by which to embrace and release our emotions.
